Finding SunshineWhen I touch the glass of the mirror in front of me, I feel the alternative life I would have if I had chosen to go the other way. I can sense the life we would have together. I see the “ifs” of every situation where I had to choose to go only one way. I look into these big brown eyes and only see a world of hopes crushed and dreams still too far off. When I close them, those crushed hopes and futuristic dreams are held within my own head. I can almost feel you around me. I can feel your embrace; the soft kisses that were never given to me. Raising the stakes in our environment
Hyping the payment of gold
On the world’s true liquid power
Exhaust pipes keeps fuming toxic smoke
Into the nostrils of an innocent generation
Waiting to begin

Curing the bitter winter nights
Scrunched up against the only floor heater
Pinching each penny for one’s future cause
Using a flashlight’s dim exposure
To read books and to write his own story
That will encourage the youthful minds of millions

Ode To Rainy DaysIt starts with...
erasing the jackhammer in my brain from
the weather's forthcoming,
flexible to come and go as it pleases
like a leaf in the wind
A relief in the breeze,
a summery type feeling...
Thunder rolling a deep murmur
in the back of my mind.
A peaceful and soothing sound of reluctance to
move inside the four walls...
And to dash out unto the muddy ground.

It came upon my head one day in the middle of Tolkien Class and so I had to draw it.
It was February 13, 2009.... a completely amazing day that's not that very important, but important nonetheless. One reason was that it was Friday the 13th.
The other is to celebrate love that would flow on until the next day.
Woot.

Hey was just thinking about this one DA contest they were just advertising. The theme being "good v.s. evil" you should enter this one, with a different name, it could be a sort of ironic piece? What you think, I thought that would be a great idea. For some reason my mind shot right to this picture when i was reading about the contest..
